Lasker Consulting Miva Merchant Integration, Customization, and Design Rates

I have been a full time consultant since 2004, specializing in the Miva Merchant niche. I started with my father, Chuck Lasker, who owns MerchantTutorials.com, and branched out on my own in 2007.

I recommend Miva Merchant due to its cost-capability ratio. This means that you can have all of the large cart capabilities without the large cart costs. However, the key to customizing Miva Merchant stores is experience with both third party modules and "tricks of the trade" learned from years of Miva Merchant work.

Thankfully, I have that experience! Whether you have a Miva Merchant 4 or Miva Merchant 5.5 site, there is very little I cannot accomplish. As your team's Miva Merchant expert, I am here to answer questions, assist in store upgrades and improvements, introduce you to new ideas and features, and guide you through the Miva Merchant jungle.

Hour by Hour Billing - Contact for rates.*

Hourly jobs require a one hour minimum and are tracked in 15 minute increments. Once the job is completed or a number of hours have added up, I'll send an invoice to be paid upon receipt.

Many other developers do not allow first time customers to pay for work after completion. However, I like to operate on a policy of trust. This means that even a new customer will get the same trust and respect that my oldest clients receive.



Hourly Prepurchase Options

As a way alleviate payment risk while offering the lowest possible rates to my clients, I've created the following Prepurchase rates. These rates are calculated as less then the standard hour by hour rate:

  • Prepay 10-19 hours, receive $5/hour discount
  • Prepay 20-39 hours, receive $10/hour discount
  • Prepay 40+ hours, receive $20/hour discount

These Prepurchase hours are good for any type of work you need completed, as well as for applying to large projects. I keep track of your prepaid hours and inform you as they are used. This is very useful for clients who have large projects or would like to secure time for ongoing work.

Pay Per Job

These are selected services we offer at a lower, flat rate. This comes in handy when you know exactly what you need and want to avoid some of the guess-work involved with hourly work.

Module/Software Install (most modules)

  • Miva Merchant 4: $45
  • Miva Merchant 5 and 5.5: $55

These rates are for the module installation and setup. Customization is extra. Feel free to Contact me and ask about specific modules and their additional costs.
